The festive season
Christmas at the shop
Bresse poultry, fresh foie gras, truffles and festive dishes of our own making: everything for your year-end meals.
Early December
Our Christmas menu
Every year our festive menu arrives in the shop in early December. It brings together our poultry, our starters and the dishes we prepare for the occasion. For the festive season it is best to order ahead: call in or telephone us.
Poulardes, capons, turkeys, guinea fowl
Bresse poultry
Poulardes, capons, turkeys, guinea fowl: Bresse poultry, the only poultry in France with a protected designation of origin, is the festive bird above all others. Cooked, of course, with Bresse cream.
And the goose, the Christmas bird by tradition.
Festive starters and dishes
Prepared by our own hand for the festive season. The game Wellington is a hot starter, to share; our trio of pâtés en croûte also comes in an aperitif size.
- Veal sweetbread and morel vol-au-vent
- Game Wellington
- Trio of pâtés en croûte
To go with them
- Gratin of cardoons
- Our own pommes dauphine
- Pressed potato terrine
-
Foie gras
Until Christmas, fresh French foie gras arrives every week, goose and duck, for you to prepare yourself. And if you would rather have it ready, our own foie gras terrine.
-
Truffles
Black truffle in winter, and white Alba truffle when it comes in: enough to perfume a bird, a stuffing or a dish of pasta.

Gift ideas
A gift card loaded with the amount of your choice, a charcuterie box, a hamper put together as you wish: the gift is made to measure.
Game and dry-aged beef
Game and exceptional meats
For a change from poultry: French game, raw or already cooked. Or one of our exceptional meats: a dry-aged rib of beef, or a whole rack of ribs for a long table.
